Michael Snyder is the director of the Center of Genomics and Personalized Medicine at Stanford University. He received his Ph.D. training at the California Institute of Technology and postdoctoral training at Stanford University. His laboratory was the first to perform large-scale functional genomics in an organism, and it has developed many genomics and proteomics technologies in order to characterize genomes, proteomes, and regulatory networks.
